Given how these images are generally designed by Apple for use with iOS and OS X only, we’ll recommend using them on iOS and OS X machines. But there’s certainly no reason you can’t apply them to your Android, Windows device/PC or any other platform for that matter. Be prepared for some distortion though.
This year, OS X 10.10 Yosemite’s default wallpaper features a nice, picturesque, mountain that’ll no doubt brighten up your OS X machine’s screen. On the other hand, the new iOS 8 wallpaper features the same, basic water type wallpaper we’ve been seeing for a while now.
Now, if you want your device to partly sport the new look, without having to install any beta software, then you’ll certainly want to check out these official iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 wallpapers.
